So excited to announce my feature article in Dance Teacher magazine.
Thank you all so much for your love and support on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, texts and calls! I am so honored..to have reached this point in my career and I owe it all to my great teachers along my 32 year dance journey.
I just want to give all my love, thanks and respect to my Dance Dad, the lateFrank Hatchett, and to my friend/mentor Sheila Barker for making my dance journey so amazing and for teaching me what it means to be passionate, professional and vulnerable!
I hope one day to be even half as great as them.
Thank you to Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, Peridance Capezio Center, Crunch Fitness, Equinox, Dimensions in Dance, Dance Olympus and all the other organizations who helped me to become a better teacher by giving me the forum to practice and grow.
I thank my late Mother Patricia Giganti and my Father Bill Giganti for their unbelievable support and dedication and for exposing me to all things in life and art!
I wouldn’t be where I am now if I hadn’t climbed all of those steps before. One step at a time we get closer to our dreams and each step, no matter how long it feels, is preparing you for a lasting and fulfilling result.
I am proud of myself for not giving up no matter what obstacles were in my way and for not trying to use someone else to get ahead.
I love all my students and I love that I am still a student myself.
Let dance be our never-ending dialogue.
